Homework in every class every day?
Having trouble keeping things organized?
In order to stay caught up on school assingments, it is important to be organized. The following tips are helpful to me, and hopefully helpful to you as well.
First; keep seperate binders. Sometimes there are more worksheets or papers in a class than can fit in one section of a binder. In this event, create a seperate binder for that specific class, this way you can bring your (math) binder to math class or your (science) binder to science class. Creating seperate binders can keep your papers neat and organized, and leave you plenty of space for future papers. Additionally, seperate binders reduce the chance of losing assingments.
Second; take advantage of sticky notes! Sticky notes are great reminders. Use them to write down assignments, or to remember what you needed to talk to the teacher about. Try color cordination such as blue sticky notes for science, red sticky notes for math and so on and so fourth.
Third; give yourself a couple minutes at the end of the day to go through your classes in your head and remember what you did that day, and whether or not you have any homework, if so, write it down to refer to later.
One last thing; Even if your homework list gets misplaced, your brain is more likley to remember that you had homework, and what it was, just because you wrote it down.
